THE CONVERGENCE – A LONE FIGURE STEPPING INTO THE UNKNOWN

DATA

INTRODUCTION

The last known record of Liora Vex, an independent explorer who vanished near the Rift, offers a chilling insight into the final moments before stepping into what many believe is the unknown beyond JunJia itself.

WHO WAS LIORA VEX?

Unlike the scholars or priests who typically studied the Convergence,Vex was a self-funded explorer, a former guide from Montara who had spent her life mapping lost ruins.

Her journal, recovered weeks after she disappeared, suggests that she had been tracking a pattern in the Rift’s expansion—one that suggested a destination rather than a random fracture.

HER FINAL WORDS

The last page of Liora’s journal was left open at the Rift’s edge. The ink had barely dried.

“I see something beyond the tear. It’s not empty. It’s waiting.I must go—because if I don’t, someone else will. And I must be the first.”

No trace of Liora Vex was ever found, but a single footprint remained in the soil near the Rift’s edge.

Facing inward.

FIRST-HAND ACCOUNTS OR RECORDED LEGENDS

“She was never reckless. If she stepped through, it was because she thought she understood what she was doing.”—Kaelon Rift, Celestial Cartographer

“Some say the Rift erases. But I think it replaces.”—Orin Kael, Riftwalker

“There were two sets of footprints. One leading in. One leading out. But only her footprint was ever identified.”—Serros Nael, Sound Cartographer

CONCLUSION

Did Liora Vex step into another world?Or was she simply the first to realize that the Rift is not just expanding, but leading somewhere?
