INTRODUCTION
There is a place where JunJia comes undone.
A vast, jagged tear in the land where the rules of reality falter—where light bends in unnatural ways, where footsteps echo in reverse, where the sky splits like shattered glass.
This is the Rift.
No one knows what lies beyond.
A WOUND IN THE WORLD
The first recorded sighting of the Rift was not a discovery—it was a disappearance. A caravan traveling between Verdanth and Aridia never arrived. Search parties found no wreckage, no bodies—only a scar in the earth, pulsing with fractured light.
Those who stand near the Rift report strange occurrences.
Their shadows move on their own.
Time passes differently.
Their reflections do not always match their movements.
Some claim to hear voices calling from beyond the tear—familiar voices, voices of the lost.
Most who enter do not return. The few who do come back… changed.
THE CONVERGENCE PHENOMENON
Every few cycles, the Rift expands.
When it does, things appear that were never there before—structures from unknown civilizations, objects no one remembers crafting, fragments of impossible landscapes.
Some believe the Rift does not just erase people—it replaces them with echoes of another world.
Orin Kael, the chronicler who wrote these accounts, disappeared three days after this final entry.
His journal was found near the Rift’s edge, the last sentence trailing into blank space.
FIRST-HAND ACCOUNTS OR RECORDED LEGENDS
“I see something beyond the tear. It’s waiting.”—Liora Vex, Lost Explorer
“You can feel it pulling at you. As if it knows you.”—Serros Nael, Audorm Echo-Seeker
“My reflection did not move. I did.”—Unknown Survivor
CONCLUSION
What is the Rift?
A doorway?
A wound?
A warning?
The only certainty is this—the Rift is growing.
And one day, it may swallow more than just the land.
